Adeleke stated this on Tuesday while participating in the ongoing ARISE News Town Hall for leading candidates in the Osun governorship election. The Governor, who is seeking a second term, said he was not intimidated by the political strength of the opposition despite its numerical advantage at the national level. Adeleke said his confidence stemmed from what he described as the achievements of his administration since assuming office in 2022. He also dismissed claims that his administration lacked sufficient achievements to justify a second term, citing interventions in healthcare, road infrastructure and workers’ welfare. The Governor further expressed confidence that voters would turn out despite security concerns surrounding the election.
