Multiple fire crews are tackling a fire at an ancient woodland site close to the Nottinghamshire border.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Stapleford Woods, off Coddington Lane near Newark, on the afternoon of Tuesday 11 August.
An update issued shortly after 14:00 confirmed that several crews were at the Forestry England site.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We currently have multiple crews in attendance at a fire in Stapleford Woods, Coddington Lane, Stapleford.
Stapleford Woods is situated in Lincolnshire, close to the county boundary with Nottinghamshire.
