SCHODACK, N.Y. (WNYT)- A 14-year-old girl faces arson charges after Schodack police said she was arrested in a fire investigation involving a home, a boat and a vehicle. Related: Police: Schodack man flees cops with children inside vehicleThe Town of Schodack Police Department said officers responded Thursday, July 23, to 236 and 242 Schodack Drive for reports of suspicious fires. On Monday, Aug. 10, Schodack police said an anonymous tip led investigators to a 14-year-old girl from Schodack. She was charged with three counts of second-degree arson, one count of first-degree reckless endangerment, one count of second-degree criminal mischief, one count of fifth-degree arson and one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police said she was also referred to Rensselaer County Probation for the misdemeanor charges.
