Nanaimo RCMP say a 39-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into arson at a local restaurant. The officer met up with other Mounties and found the suspect outside the restaurant and arrested him without incident. Donovan Tait, officer in charge of the Nanaimo RCMP Detachment. The arrest came the same day that Nanaimo RCMP arrested another suspect for an arson just blocks away.
