HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Victoria Schuldt is in a tie for fifth place and the UTSA women’s golf team stands eighth after the second day of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Saturday at University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch (par 72/6,622 yards). Schuldt fired her second straight 2-under-par 70 to position herself in fifth at 4-under 140 with 18 holes left to play. Schuldt began her second round with six consecutive pars before settling for a bogey on the par-4 seventh. The freshman from Canada followed a 2-under 70 on Friday with a 76 today that featured back-to-back birdies on Nos. Vanderbilt has the team lead at 18-under par behind individual leader Ava Merrill (-7), followed by a tie for second between Colorado and Texas State at 7-under.
