England has experienced the hottest mean temperature across the regions according to the Met Office, clocking in at 2.4°C above the average summer temperature between 1 June and 15 July.
Wales is not far behind, at 2.2°C above the average, while Northern Ireland and Scotland have been slightly cooler, at 1.3°C and 0.9°C above their average summer temperatures respectively.
