Satish Gupta, President of Rajiv Rahadari JAC, told ‘Telangana Today’ that the Deeksha was held with the demand that the Hyderabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri district administrations pay compensation to land losers in a fair manner. An estimated 1,500 to 2,000 families will be impacted by land acquisition linked to the infrastructure project. Those affected included owners of commercial establishments who had been running businesses for the past six decades on Rajiv Rahadari and attended the Deeksha, Satish said.
