The factional National Chairman of the Accord Party, Prof. Chris Imumolen, has expressed confidence that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke will lose his re-election bid, either at the ballot box on Saturday or through an ongoing legal battle in court. Asserting that Adeleke lacks what it takes to secure a genuine victory at the polls, Imumolen said his confidence extends far beyond the ballot box. The pending case, involving the faction aligned with Adeleke, is reportedly progressing well, with Imumolen expressing optimism that the court will soon deliver a favourable judgment. Because of this, Imumolen maintains that Adeleke cannot bypass the consequences of the leadership battle simply by winning an election. And if, against all expectations, he wins, the Accord leadership case will ultimately defeat him in court,” he reiterated.
