Supported-living provider’s ‘exceptional’ independence work praised by CQC

The Pines Home Care, based at Cornerways House in School Lane, Ringwood, received an overall “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission.

The CQC said The Pines Home Care was “exceptional at promoting people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing.”
People said the support helped them travel alone, find work and take part in sport and community groups.
Staff helped people do as much as possible for themselves and encouraged healthy lifestyles through gym visits, walks and tailored nutrition plans.
