The new Wiltshire Local Plan will guide where homes, jobs, and infrastructure are delivered across the county in the coming years. Public feedback will help ensure future development happens in the right locations and is supported by appropriate services, facilities, and infrastructure. Ian Thorn, leader of Wiltshire Council and councillor responsible for strategic planning, said: "The Wiltshire Local Plan will play a vital role in shaping the future of our county. "While change can feel challenging, well-planned development can also bring new opportunities, investment and facilities for communities, which is why local feedback is so important." The plan process officially begins on October 30, triggering the government’s 30-month timetable for completion.
