Google is finally ready to expand the availability of YouTube Premium Lite plan more broadly. Following a rollout to over 20 markets earlier this year, the cheaper YouTube plan ($8.99/month in the US) is now available in all markets where YouTube Premium ($15.99/month) is available. As a reminder, YouTube Premium Lite lets subscribers watch most videos ad-free, except for music videos. In comparison, the regular YouTube Premium plan lets subscribers watch all videos without ads, with some of them also offering an enhanced 1080p quality. YouTube Music Premium, Google’s alternative to Spotify Premium and Apple Music, is also included in the subscription, making it a really good value despite the recent price increase from $13.99 to $15.99/month in the US.
