Bradford Council has announced that refuse collection crews will begin work an hour earlier than usual on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to cope with the heat. The decision comes as the Met Office forecasts temperatures of 31°C on Wednesday, 32°C on Thursday, and 23°C on Friday. A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: "Some of our crews may start work an hour earlier than usual, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, due to the hot weather. "Please can you put your bins out the night before your collection day to help them? "If your bin is missed, please leave it out and we will come and empty it as soon as possible."
