Ryan Frederick, of Brunswick Street, Parr, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 31 and pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug. The offence took place on February 27 this year at Junction Lane and Station Road in Sutton. Frederick was ordered to pay a £120 fine and £85 in costs. The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis. Cannabis is classified as a class B substance in the UK, and possession is punishable by up to three months in prison, a fine of up to £2,500, or both.
