Man hauled before court after being caught possessing cannabis

Ryan Frederick, of Brunswick Street, Parr, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 31 and pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug.
The offence took place on February 27 this year at Junction Lane and Station Road in Sutton.
Frederick was ordered to pay a £120 fine and £85 in costs.
The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis.
Cannabis is classified as a class B substance in the UK, and possession is punishable by up to three months in prison, a fine of up to £2,500, or both.
