Eight charged, 18 firearms seized in organized crime investigation

We have charged eight individuals and seized 18 firearms and $58,500 worth of drugs following an 11-month investigation into an alleged drug-trafficking and organized-crime network operating in Calgary.
In September 2025, police became aware of a man believed to be involved in drug trafficking in Calgary.
Throughout the course of the investigation, officers wrote 74 judicial authorizations, executed 15 search warrants and seized dozens of exhibits, including digital devices and physical evidence.
Ausama MOHAMED, 28, of Chestermere, is charged with two counts each of possession of the proceeds of crime and possession of forged documents.
Bonnie LEBLANC, 40, of Delacour, is charged with seven counts of uttering a forged document and six counts of possession of the proceeds of crime.
