Storm chances, while not entirely off the table for all of us, will remain fairly limited through Wednesday. Storm chances themselves will depend on outflow boundaries leftover from pre-existing storms, but again, will remain fairly low. There is still a lot of uncertainty with storm chances through this week, and even less confidence in severe storm chances. Chances for severe storms decrease through the rest of the week, but we’ll need to watch for additional chances later this week. Jet stream winds will be out of the west overhead, with large wildfire smoke plumes being lifted into the jet stream from the fires burning on the West Coast.
