A Castle Shannon man pleaded guilty Monday to causing a house explosion last year that killed his teenage daughter and injured his estranged wife and a volunteer firefighter.
Investigators said Shelleby was separated from his wife, Carly Shelleby, and became frustrated that day when she told him he could not stay at the house.
According to the complaint, Carly Shelleby yelled for her daughter to get out of the house.
Once her daughter responded, Carly Shelleby ran outside, and the house erupted into flames.
“It was an extremely emotional case, and he’ll be suffering for the rest of his life from the death of his daughter,” Williams said.
