Patient airlifted to hospital after medical incident on York Minster roof

Yorkshire Air Ambulance, paramedics, along with three appliances from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.16pm on Tuesday (August 11).

Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed at Bootham Park.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received an emergency call at 1.16pm this afternoon (11 August) to report a medical incident at York Minster.
"A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including an ambulance and the air ambulance, and one patient was conveyed via air ambulance to hospital."
