The ceremony was attended by Chief Constable Sacha Hatchett, Assistant Chief Constables Stasia Osiowy and Jason Devonport, and Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw. The officers are part of Lancashire’s ninth intake under the Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP). Chief Constable Hatchett said: "An attestation ceremony remains one of the most definitive milestones in a policing career. "I look forward to watching these officers grow in their careers and make a lasting, positive difference in our neighbourhoods." Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw said: "It’s heartening to see the passion our new officers bring as they start their careers in policing, working hard to tackle crime and protect the people of Lancashire.
