The glass was discovered on both the 3G pitch and multi-use games area at the Port Seton Centre, and both will now remain closed until further notice.
Last Thursday morning, the management team were informed of the vandalism by a woman who had taken her grandchild to use the facilities.

Mr Wilson said: “It’s unfortunate because there’s lots of disappointed kids who have been coming and making use of it.”
The two pitches will remain closed until after the inspections and the centre will let potential visitors know via social media when they are in use again.
