PennDOT is seeking public feedback as it plans to shore up roads in Washington and Westmoreland counties.
The agency will realign and stabilize 500 feet of Smith’s Run Road in Amwell, Washington County, after a landslide a decade ago damaged the roadway.
Smith’s Run Road will close during that period.
Stacy recommended commuters follow a detour via Ten Mile Road, Lone Pine Road and Baker Hill Road.
Those interested can submit comments regarding the projects using a form on PennDOT’s website until Aug. 24.
