Holmbert Fridjonsson was on the Gwangju FC bus coming back from an away game on Sunday morning when they witnessed a car crash with a lorry and burst into flames. Dashcam footage sent into YouTube channel, Han Moon-chul TV, shows the pair grab the driver from the car and pull him free. Speaking to the club's media team after the incident, Fridjosson described the adrenalin of the incident. He said: "You see the car burning and your wondering if there is someone inside. Local media in South Korea are reporting that the Korea Professional Football League are considering giving a commendation to the players for their brave act.
