Temperatures are expected to rise across the country, and with an amber warning in place from the Met Office, the RNLI is warning of the increased risk of getting stranded. The combination of hot weather and spring tides could catch visitors off guard and lead to emergencies. Tirion Dowsett, water safety delivery support at the RNLI, said: "Tide times and heights vary throughout the month, and the incoming tide can easily leave people stranded, requiring assistance. The RNLI is encouraging anyone heading to the coast to check tide times and understand the risks. The charity is also reminding people of the dangers of cold water shock, which remains a threat even during warm weather.
