As kids head back to school, possibly taking new routes and feeling first day jitters, safety is Mishawaka's top priority. This is why “Cool Your Engines” is back for another back-to-school season. “Cool Your Engines” is a reminder for people to observe the school zone speed limits and bus laws they might have forgotten about during the summer. Kids aren't in school; you don't see the school busses out, you don't see the kids crossing the street all the time. And we want to make sure the kids are taken care of and they have a safe walk to school.”
