Now, in a surprising turn of events, developer Bit Kid (the team behind the highly acclaimed Chasm) has unexpectedly shadowdropped Knytt Classic completely for free.
That way, Knytt Classic is a re-release specifically focused on the first title of the series, framed as an extremely accurate remake of the original.
What makes Knytt Classic so special, however, is that it packs four distinct campaigns that reinterpret that very same single map.
To be fair, Knytt Classic preserves the past so faithfully that a few outdated design choices remain intact.
Seeing a developer dedicate time to modernizing a foundational freeware classic (and releasing it for free!)
