This initiative will increase transmission capacity by 60% in the southern section of the National Electric System (SEN). The system, known as Transfer Control Automation System, will enable the integration of an additional 239GWh of wind power generation into the grid, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 100,000 households. This increased injection of renewable energy will help to reduce reliance on thermal power generation and its associated emissions, further enhancing the positive impact of the solution on the electricity system. The company has delivered more than 70 power grid projects across multiple countries, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure for electricity transmission and the integration of renewable generation into power systems. The company is currently developing eight concession-based transmission projects covering the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of 1,203 kilometers of transmission lines, 12 new substations and the expansion of 16 existing substations.
