This marks a 6.3 per cent increase compared to the same month last year, surpassing the previous record set in August 2025. The airport also saw daily passenger numbers exceed 100,000 on 18 different days during the month – the highest ever recorded in a single month. Spain, Italy, and Turkey were the most popular destinations, with Istanbul, Dublin, and Majorca topping the list of busiest routes.
