SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) Under the Sindh Government's vision of 'Roshan Ghar - Roshan Sindh', the distribution and installation of Solar Home System (SHS) kits among eligible households across Sindh is continuing. A total of 2,615 eligible families in 13 districts were provided with solar kits, said SRSO Spokesperson here on Monday. The kits are being distributed under the Solar Home System Project of the Energy Department, Government of Sindh, which is being implemented by the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO). The project aims to provide reliable, affordable and sustainable solar energy solutions to 275,000 households across 30 districts of Sindh through a transparent selection process. SRSO clarified that no fee or charge is taken at any level for survey, verification, distribution and installation of the solar home system kits.
