(AURN News) — Voters in three states are heading to the polls today, with one of the biggest contests in Wisconsin.
Democrats there are deciding whether state Rep. Francesca Hong, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, becomes their nominee for governor.
In Alabama, voters in four congressional districts, including the state’s majority-Black 7th District, are casting ballots in a special primary after a lengthy court fight restored the district’s map.
And in South Carolina, Republicans are choosing a nominee for the Senate seat left vacant by Sen. Lindsey Graham’s death last month.
The Alabama and South Carolina races could head to runoffs if no candidate wins a majority tonight.
