MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) A fire broke out at a large grocery warehouse near Ali Wala Chowk on Muzaffargarh roadhere on Monday, triggering a major firefighting operation by Rescue 1122. According to Rescue 1122, the warehouse, spread over an area of approximately one kanal,contained cooking oil, ghee and other grocery items, which made the firefighting operationparticularly challenging. Soon after receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 fire-fighting teams reached the site and launched an operation from different directions to contain the blaze. Local police were also present to assist the rescue teams and maintain security. All people present inside the warehouse remained safe, and no casualties were reported.
