ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq chaired a meeting of senior Islamabad Police officers to review progress on logistics, police personnel welfare and key administrative matters, directing officials to expedite pending work and assigning them fresh tasks. DIG Tariq reviewed progress on various logistics and administrative matters and discussed measures aimed at improving the welfare and facilitation of police officers and personnel. Muhammad Tariq directed the officers concerned to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities and maintain effective coordination among the relevant branches to address administrative and logistical requirements efficiently. He also issued necessary directions on police welfare matters and assigned new tasks to the officers, stressing effective follow-up and timely implementation. The DIG said efficient logistics, sound administration and welfare of the force were essential for enabling police personnel to perform their professional duties effectively.
