TMZ was the first to report that prosecutors in Orange County, Florida, would not pursue the case brought by Wiley’s now ex-wife, Annemarie. On Tuesday morning after the report became public, Marcellus Wiley went live on his YouTube channel to celebrate his exoneration in this case with the caption, “Marcellus Wiley is Innocent! In the video, Wiley talked about the importance of his name and reputation and what it means to his children, especially in the internet age where these headlines can last forever. Wiley also strongly denied those allegations in a separate YouTube video.
