He expressed these views while speaking in a Radio Pakistan Sargodha’s special programme“Meri Pehchan Pakistan” and briefed listeners about the institution’s mandate, jurisdiction,complaint registration process and mechanism for resolving public grievances. Khawaja Saif-ur-Rehman said that more than 180 federal government institutions fell withinthe jurisdiction of the Wafaqi Mohtasib, enabling citizens to approach the institution for resolution of their grievances. He explained that lodging a complaint with the Wafaqi Mohtasib was a simple process. Citizenscould submit an application on plain paper at the Wafaqi Mohtasib Regional Office in Sargodha, whilecomplaints could also be filed online through the institution’s mobile application. Khawaja Saif-ur-Rehman said residents of the Sargodha region could also contact the office for complaints and information at 048-9330155 and 048-930160.
