The meeting reviewed programmes planned for Independence Day, along with security, sanitation, beautification, and other administrative arrangements. Dr Ayesha Khan directed the concerned departments to complete special cleanliness arrangements at schools, government buildings, and other public places before August 14. The meeting was informed that Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia and Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hasan Raza would visit New Central Jail Bahawalpur on Independence Day to distribute sweets among inmates. The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officials to discharge their assigned responsibilities through close coordination and a comprehensive strategy to ensure that Independence Day celebrations are held in a dignified manner befitting the national occasion and reflecting the spirit of patriotism.
