Framed fountain pen ads from magazines line the walls, offering a glimpse into a time where these were the pen of choice. Just last month, the same collectors behind Whispers of the Nib had a meet-and-greet in Quezon City, attended by 400 people. A total of P220,000 was raised, going directly to the Ortigas Library Foundation to support its programs. Ms. Frias-Fua pointed out that all the vintage pens and ads displayed in Whispers of the Nib are original. Whispers of the Nib runs until the end of August at Ortigas Foundation Library, Unimart Building, GH Mall, Greenhills Shopping Center, in San Juan City.
