The City of Pflugerville has lifted Stage 1 water restrictions and returned to its year-round water conservation schedule after water use remained below levels that would require additional restrictions. The change took effect Monday, Aug. 10, allowing Pflugerville water customers to use irrigation systems twice per week before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Under the city’s watering schedule, residential customers with even-numbered addresses may water Thursdays and Sundays, while those with odd-numbered addresses may water Wednesdays and Saturdays. Officials said they do not expect the return to twice-weekly watering to push demand above the 12 million-gallon-per-day limit at the city’s Surface Water Treatment Plant. Several activities are exempt from the twice-weekly schedule.
