Deputy Commissioner, Muhammad Ashraf, Additional Deputy Commissioner LiaqatAli Gilani, Umair Khan Baloch, Pir Rafiuddin Shah and other prominent personalitiesattended the event, where distinguished guests were also honored through traditionaldastar bandi. Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf described theMakka mutual defence agreement among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia as alandmark development of historic significance. Ashraf said organizing sports activities to mark the historic agreement and IndependenceDay was a good omen. He added that traditional wrestling competitions promoted discipline,endurance, physical strength and a spirit of healthy competition among young athletes.
