GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) A ceremony highlighting Muslim unity, Pakistan’s Independence Day and the Makkahdefence agreement among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye was held at Govt HighSchool Kharian. According to official sources, Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondaland Deputy District Education Officer Dr Iftikhar Ahmed attended the ceremony aschief guests, while school Principal Syed Mohsin Naseer Shah presided over the event. Students presented national songs, tableaus and speeches highlighting Muslim unity,Independence Day and the joint defence agreement. They also carried the nationalflags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye and raised slogans for national unity andsolidarity. Addressing the ceremony, Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Sher Gondal highlightedthe importance of Muslim unity and Independence Day and termed the Makkahagreement was a step towards peace, security and stability.
