KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) Karachi Police arrested more than 835 suspects during anti-crime operations across the city's East, West and South zones over the past week. Police recovered 40 illegal weapons of different types, a car and 16 motorcycles from the arrested suspects involved in the encounters. More than 103 illegal weapons of various types along with ammunition, allegedly used in street crime and other offences, were also recovered from arrested suspects. Karachi Police further recovered 39 snatched and stolen motorcycles and three cars during operations in different parts of the city. The spokesperson said Karachi Police would continue its efforts to curb crime, maintain law and order and protect citizens.
