QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hub Juma Dad Khan Mandukhel on Monday chaired a meeting of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) regarding preparation of Independence Day (August 14). In the meeting, a detailed review of 14th August Independence Day celebrations, law and order, traffic management, anti-drug, anti-smuggling, security of government buildings and other important issues were taken. Deputy Commissioner Hub directed that 14th August Independence Day would be celebrated with national enthusiasm and dignity. Assistant Commissioners Vinder and Draji were also directed to organize Independence Day celebrations in their respective sub-divisions with the cooperation of Chief Officers and Tehsildars. Regarding traffic, the meeting decided that strict action would be taken against traffic rule violations, illegal parking, speeding, signal violations and illegal number plates.
