IFSCA advised entities not to use its logo without authorisation or make representations suggesting that they are authorised, registered, approved, recognised, or regulated by IFSCA unless such status has been expressly granted and remains valid. Caution was further advised while engaging with entities through digital platforms, particularly concerning boss scams, deepfakes, impersonation, and other digital frauds. IFSCA stated that suspected unauthorised activity, logo misuse, or digital scams relating to the IFSC may be brought to its notice. The public and other stakeholders are advised not to rely solely on the display of the IFSCA logo or on claims that an entity is authorised, approved, recognised, licensed or regulated by IFSCA. In case of any doubt or suspicion regarding any unauthorised activity, misuse of the IFSCA logo, or any digital scam pertaining to the IFSC, the same may be brought to the notice of IFSCA.
