The special campaign will be carried out from August 10 to August 18, 2026 in 9 Union Councils of the Kacha area. He said that during the campaign, children aged 4 months to 10 years will be administered a needle-free, jet injector vaccine which is safe, effective, halal and harmless. In addition to the jet injector, children up to 5 years of age will also be administered oral polio drops as in routine campaigns. He said the vaccine is specifically designated for children of migratory families living in the Kacha belt. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Nadir Shahzad Khan said the administration aims to achieve 100 percent coverage in the booster campaign.
