He said such celebrations are the best way to educate the new generation about the immortal sacrifices rendered by our forefathers for the country's independence. He directed all relevant departments, including Education, to make comprehensive and effective arrangements for the celebrations. Briefing the meeting, Assistant Commissioner New Sukkur Bushra Mansoor informed that the main district ceremony will be held at Lab-e-Mehran Walking Track, where Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah will be the chief guest. The ceremony will feature flag hoisting, national songs, national anthem, tableaus and speeches by students of various schools. She further informed that the Provincial Minister will also inaugurate a week-long tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at the ceremony.
