Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Mustafa Kamal appreciated the agreement between Sheikh Zayed Institute and ChildLife Foundation for the establishment of a modern Children’s Emergency UnitISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2026) Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Mustafa Kamal appreciated the agreement between Sheikh Zayed Institute and ChildLife Foundation for the establishment of a modern Children’s Emergency Unit. Under the MoU, a 10-bed modern Children’s Emergency Unit will be established at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore to provide timely, quality and effective emergency medical care to children. He said that the partnership between ChildLife Foundation and Sheikh Zayed Institute would bring a significant improvement to the field of pediatric emergency healthcare. The Federal Minister said that the establishment of the modern Children’s Emergency Unit would help ensure the provision of immediate, quality and effective medical care to children in need of emergency treatment. The Federal Minister expressed hope that the new partnership would contribute meaningfully to strengthening pediatric emergency services and improving health outcomes for children.
