Filipino actor Elijah Canlas said Tuesday he is going through a difficult stretch personally, offering his first public comment since breakup rumors began circulating about his five-year relationship with actress and television host Miles Ocampo. Canlas, 25, did not directly address questions about the status of his relationship with Ocampo, 29, when asked in an interview. Canlas began acting at 14 in the 2014 independent film "Sundalong Kanin," an official Cinemalaya festival entry. Canlas and Ocampo met and began dating in 2021 after working together on a music video. Canlas and Ocampo have dated on and off since 2021, confirming their romance publicly in 2022 after meeting through a music video project.
