About the only disturbing thing in the latest reef data is that we wouldn’t know this at all if the exiled Professor, Peter Ridd, didn’t compile the AIMS data into one graph. Looking at the AIMS data on individual reefs Peter Ridd explains that almost every reef goes through big regular cycles. If all the scientists were as brave as Peter Ridd, there’d be no problem. Only 3% knew the corals were at a record high, and nearly half the Green voters were as wrong as they possibly could be — they thought coral cover was at a record low.
