The Institute of Public Health (IPH) has successfully collaborated with the University of Bergen, Norway in the promotion of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) through international academic partnership, research and capacity building. Under this important and valuable collaboration, two faculty members and four students of the Institute of Public Health, Lahore have successfully completed specialized training in Norway. Both the students have acquired advanced knowledge and practical skills in the field of occupational safety and health. By integrating evidence-based training with practical interventions, the Institute of Public Health is playing a key role in promoting healthy workplaces, protecting workers’ health and further strengthening occupational health services across Pakistan. The Institute of Public Health, University of Bergen, Norway is committed to this continued partnership, collaboration and the preparation of a new generation of public health leaders and occupational health professionals.
