The 27-year-old, who will wear the number two jersey at Leverkusen, made 26 competitive appearances for Marseille in 2025/26, earning him a place in Lionel Scaloni’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad. Medina played four games in North America, including coming on as a substitute in the final, as Argentina finished runners-up to Spain.
