The minister reiterated his ministry’s commitment to providing world-class facilities to Pakistani pilgrims through the use of modern technology. Addressing a news conference, the minister said that the objective was to ensure a comfortable stay for Pakistani pilgrims in the Holy Land. The Minister said under the Hajj Policy 2027, 107,526 Pakistani pilgrims would perform Hajj next year under the government scheme. He said 71,684 pilgrims would perform Hajj next year under the private Hajj scheme. The Minister said pilgrims opting for the private scheme would also use the digital payment system through the Pak Hajj App or Hajj Portal to pay their installments.
