The meeting reviewed in detail the progress of ongoing beautification schemes, parks, green belts, roads and other development and landscaping projects in the city. The concerned officers briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the current status of the projects and their completion. The Deputy Commissioner directed that all ongoing beautification schemes aimed at making Rawalpindi greener, cleaner and more attractive must be completed by August 20 without fail. Capt (Retd) Nadeem Nasir said the beautification projects were aimed at providing citizens with a clean, green and attractive environment, adding that quality, sustainability and timely completion of all projects must be ensured.
