(WAUKESHA, Wis.) – Waukesha County Parks is expanding its popular “Leave Your Mark” personalized boardwalk plank donation program to the Dog Exercise Area at Mukwonago Park, giving community members a new opportunity to create a lasting tribute while supporting the park system. The engraved planks will become part of the boardwalk extension within the park’s large breed Dog Exercise Area. “Leave Your Mark provides a unique way for park visitors to connect with the places they enjoy while helping enhance Waukesha County’s natural spaces,” Director of Parks and Land Use Dale Shaver said. The first installation opportunity will align with the Mukwonago Park Dog Exercise Area boardwalk extension project. Community members interested in participating in the Leave Your Mark program can purchase a plank at waukeshacounty.gov/leaveyourmark to become part of the Mukwonago Park boardwalk experience and help support Waukesha County Parks.
